Spring Clean-up & Perennial Cuttings Requested

Spring has sprung and with the change in seasons it’s time to venture outdoors once again!  This Spring we will continue our clean-up efforts around the school and look forward to adding more plantings as we go.  With this in mind, now is the time that many perennial plants are re-emerging for the growing season – an ideal time for splitting those that may be overgrown or merely in need of thinning out.  If you will be splitting perennials in your own yard – daylilies, hosta, etc. – and are willing to donate those cuttings for use at Emerson or if you are willing to assist in our planting efforts this Spring please contact Christine Sedlacek at to coordinate.  Clean-up and planting dates for the remainder of the school year will be determined in the coming weeks.  Thanks in advance for your contributions and enjoy the Spring Break!
