Support Your Children's Creative Side - the 2009-2010 Reflections Theme - Beauty Is...

Posted by Vanessa Cowhey on Oct 4, 2009

Encourage the Arts:
Does your child love to draw?  Do they write silly or sweet stories on their own? If so, they will love the Reflections program. This nationally organized program allows children to express themselves through words, pictures, music, dance, and other art forms, helping them to grow intellectually and socially. Through artistic expression, they learn to analyze their thoughts, feelings, and ideas; learn to look at things, people, and experiences in a fresh and exciting way; and become more interested in the ideas and works of others.

Please encourage your child to participate in this program by submitting his or her work of art by Friday November 6th. All children who participate will receive an award and attend a pizza party to celebrate their effort.

Look for more information throughout the month of October or contact Heather Justus at with questions.  The links below provide additional information on the program along with entry forms and requirements.
