Science Olympiad 'Night-Of' General Information - Please Read

The following is some general information regarding the Science Olympiad on Tuesday, March 10:


  • There are 291 Emerson students and more than 100 parent and teacher volunteers participating in the Science Olympiad this year.  Carpool if possible, and please be patient with each other. 


  • Parking for drop-off/pick-up will be available in the Emerson lot.  The gate will be open allowing for additional parking in the playground lot by the lunchroom.  The Mary Queen Of Heaven Lot is also available.  However, PLEASE DO NOT PARK in the spaces behind the church/in front of the Rectory or in the row of spaces along the church (on the right when you enter the MQH lot). Mary Queen of Heaven also has events going on that evening and will need those spaces.

Please Be On Time:

  • Doors open at 6pm.  Enter through the main school entrance by the office.  Teams will begin moving to their first experiments at approximately 6:15

Team Assembly:

  • When students arrive, they can put coats in their lockers and find their Team Number in the halls.  K - 2nd Grade Teams assemble on the 1st floor, and 3rd - 5th Grades Teams assemble on the 2nd floor.  Remember, this as a drop-off event.

Detailed drop-off and pick-up information will be sent to the team leaders who will then forward it on to team member parents.  Please read it when you get will help to avoid confusion on the 11th.
