Jump Rope for Heart

Posted by Jana Krausfeldt on Mar 4, 2015

For the past several weeks, students in grades 2 through 5 have been participating in the the Jump Rope for Heart program. By sending emails to adult family and friends via their personal JRFH web page, they are raising awareness in their community about heart disease and stroke prevention. The students are learning various jump rope exercises during school, earning lots of rubber ducks for their efforts, as well as Sky Zone gift certificates and perhaps a sighting of Mrs Henderson in a gorilla suit! The Jump Rope for Heart event is during school on Wednesday, March 25. Parents who want to volunteer and have not notified us yet can email Apoor Gami at
