Junior Achievement Volunteers

Posted by Jana Krausfeldt on Dec 11, 2013

We are looking for volunteers to teach the Junior Achievement program for kindergarten and first grade classrooms. This program teaches financial literacy in a fun, age appropriate way. The children love having us come in! They especially love seeing someone they know in their classroom! (While it is fun to be in your child's classroom, you can also teach in other/additional classrooms) Can you help? Although teaching won't commence until 2014, we would like confirm volunteers as soon as possible. The course may be taught January through April with a total classroom time commitment only 2 1/2 hours. Please let me know which classroom (teacher) are you interested in teaching. If you have more than one child, please indicate order of classroom preference. Please reply to jennyvaisnoras@hotmail.com. The classes will be assigned based on response.
