Posted by Joan Letourneau on Dec 15, 2011

Nine fun and exciting experiments have been chosen for Emerson School’s 3rd Annual Science Olympiad Fun Night to be held from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, February 28, 2012.

  • K-1st Grade: Groovy Baby!, Don’t Bug Me, Bubble Trouble
  • 2nd-3rd Grade: The Skin You Are In, Weather or Not, Building Bridges
  • 4th-5th Grade: Mystery Architecture, Operation Egg Drop, Mystery Powders

Please visit the Science Olympiad page for more details.

These hands-on learning activities have been chosen to spark the imagination and illuminate the world of science! Students will be placed on four-person teams that will rotate through a series of three amazing science experiments. Sixty parent volunteers will be needed to lead the teams or to help run the experiments. Please contact Ana Nichols at if you are interested in volunteering. Look for online registration at the end of January, and please consider helping out.
