Emerson Staff Rises to Unexpected Challenge

Posted by Vanessa Cowhey on Feb 12, 2009

On Thursday morning the Emerson PTA thanked the Emerson staff for their quick and calm response to the threat that occurred at our school this past Tuesday, February 10th.

As a token of appreciation, the Emerson PTA sponsored breakfast at this week's staff meeting.

The Emerson staff was commended by the District for the way in which it handled the evacuation of its students.  Many parents shared the same sentiment.

During the February Emerson PTA meeting, Beth Gregor reiterated that our children's safety is a priority and all threats are taken seriously.
