Go Green! Announces Paper Recycling Challenge

Posted by Joan Letourneau on Mar 1, 2011

Emerson’s paper retrieval company, Abitibi Consolidated, has issued a “Paper Recycling Challenge”. Abitibi has offered a monetary incentive to Emerson for its recycling efforts during the month of March.

We are asking all families to send their recyclable paper to Emerson instead of putting the paper in their own household recycling bins. Students can bring the paper to school and deposit it in their classroom recycling bins, or parents can stop by the Abitibi (green and yellow) dumpster in the school parking lot on weekends only to deposit their paper. Accepted paper includes: phone books, catalogs, magazines, newspapers, direct mail, graded and returned homework, and notebook and printer paper.
