District 205 Foundation Midnight Masquerade Fundraiser Is October 23

Posted by Joan Letourneau on Oct 7, 2010

Emerson School has already filled 3+ tables of supporting parents for the District 205 Foundation's fun and festive “Black and Orange Ball” to be held Oct. 23 at River Forest Country Club. Attire is cocktail or costume – take your pick!

Exceptional travel packages, choice tickets to major sporting events (including “on the glass” Blackhawks tickets) and unique experiences are among this year’s featured auction and raffle items.

Please contact Margaret Rask or Meg Snyder for tickets and details.

Tickets must be purchased by Wednesday, Oct 13 to be entered in the iPad drawing.

Online Auction Coming Soon!

In conjunction with the Midnight Masquerade Fundraiser, the District 205 Foundation will be holding an online auction with items donated by each school. Principal Gregor has generously donated front row tickets and a prime parking spot for our favorite Emerson performances! Don’t miss this opportunity to conveniently enjoy the shows and support our children’s education. An e-mail notice with a link to the auction Web site will be coming soon.

Another great reason to support the District 205 Foundation…
Emerson Elementary and Churchville Middle School combined have received more than one-third of the Foundation’s grant money over the last three years. Thanks to our principals, teachers and parents for writing excellent grant proposals and submitting outstanding ideas!
